Freaky Adverts

Group 2

In todays session we were randomly placed into our groups, my group involves two other unique individuals named Emma and Pelle. I say unique as neither of us have anything in common which will help in the long run. We were told to identify ourselves and what media and skills we knew. Pelle is a talented rapper and can create his own music, he also knows Spanish which could help create a unique advert. Emma likes to sing and dance which can greatly help create an entertaining show. Mix them with my camera skills and minimal editing we are not a half bad group. We then went on to identify what sort of object we can bring to the table, i had a mask and we all have SD cards and Hard Drives and i mentioned a creepy doll i found near a bridge in my village.

This advert was set in a wooded area with a dark mist put in place which gives a rather ambient effect. The advert shows a man in running in a panic like manner which gives you the effect that hes in danger. The scene itself is greatly creepy. The dialect sounds coming from the advert are of him runninbg and rustling leaves bu the rest of the sounds are non dialect adding suspense

2.) Baby Doll PlayStation 3

The scene is set in a white blank room with a doll and the playstation. what makes this advert creepy is the doll itself as it facial features are rather cold and lifeless. The all round sound was rather low tempo and in minor tone.

3.) Metz Judderman

this advert tops them all showing so many creepy and effect ways such as. Dark old Dracula style filming with a cold snowy setting, Creepy trees, forest and men. So much so that it leaves a sense of curiosity in your mind.

4.)Cadbury's Gorilla

The advert isnt exactly creepy or freaky its rather unique
in the sense that it has a gorilla playing the drums in a blank purple room. The music was mostly dialect with the music coming from the gorilla playing drums.

Dark Skulls

Our team came up with the idea of Dark Skulls a dark fizzy drink that represents souls. the advert for this drink is inspired by my ghostly mask and involves many settings such as stair case and some sort of surface. The advert is going to show a girl running down these spiral stairs potentially running away from a ghost of some sort. She comes across a drink and decides to drink it and then suddenly this ghoul appears next to her. From my knowledge the whole effects will be black and white with creepy music playing in the back ground.
